“Jan and Edward were the kindest, most hospitable hosts. We immensely enjoyed our few days in their lovely, welcoming home. Breakfasts were individually cooked and were scrumptious. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we could wish for, with a powerful shower with lashings of hot water. A cosy log fire in the guests' sitting room made staying in very tempting, despite the good recommendations and help with reservations for local cuisine. Can't wait for them to decide to offer evening meals! We woke up to beautiful scenery over the pretty gardens and moor, and the option of where to go for the day, with Hawkwell providing good access to all of East Devon, from North to South coasts with the expanse of the moor in between. We'll be back.”
